Favorite Color: Big fan of the color blue. I have been forever, but I've come up with some good reasons for it. To begin with, psychologists say that we dream more somberly if we are in a blue painted room. Also, taking notes with blue ink is supposed to encourage better retention of the material being written. Oh, and don't forget. The 10,000 Hours Blue Men. They are pretty awesome.

Favorite Date Movie: The Life Aquatic: Story of Steve Zissou - for 2 reasons. 1) Wes Anderson films are awesome, and are also a great partner to what ability I have to be witty. I think I can generally be more entertaining to my date with a little help of quirky oceanographers. 2) Bill Murray.

Why I joined 10k: This is my first year with The 10,000 Hours organization. I hadn't participated in years past, and I've never been to a 10K concert. But I have a passion for giving to our fellow man. I wanted to find an organization that could support this passion. 10k was exactly that. My job, is basically to be pumped about all the great things we do, and help get other people excited as well. There is not a student run organization with a better mission than that of 10k. Unconditional outreach to those in need simply because it feels good to be kind.

If you have the ability to change the world, you have the responsibility to do so. If you don't, who will?
