This Saturday, October 9th 10K is hosting a VMeet with Johnson County Heritage Trust.
The work day will go from 9am - 12pm. If you would like a ride, please arrive at the south doors (the ones facing Hubbard) of the IMU no later than 8:30am.
Belgum Grove is located 3 miles west of Hills on 500th St. It is a 40 acre tract of land that has restored prairie, small woodland and a recently created pond and wetland.
The work day activities will include:
- Help with understory removal (i.e haul brush) from the oak slope.
- Mulching shrub plantings
- Paint doors on pony barn
- Lay fabric and mulch under the cable fence.
There is no football game this Saturday so what better way to spend a free morning than giving back to your community.
