UAY Winter Teen Clothing Drive
Thursday, December 8 from 2-7pm
UAY Youth Center - 355 Iowa Avenue
The Clothing Drive is open to all youth ages 12-18. The Youth Center is set up to feel like a store and young people will be invited to “shop” for FREE clothing items between the hours of 2:00pm-7:00pm. All clothing items will be distributed FREE to junior high and high school students.
Volunteers would be helping work the event for approximately an hour: picking clothes up off the floor, folding clothes, sorting clothes, keeping things tidy, working the "check-out" lane, etc. Beginning at 7pm, we will load up all extra clothing items and transport them to Goodwill. Any volunteers who have vehicles and can help transport leftover clothing items to Goodwill at the end of the evening would be appreciated!
