It's that time of year again, and the Weatherization Project is coming up soon! We need as many volunteers as possible to come out on Sunday, Oct. 25th between 1 and 5:30 and put up window plastic, re-caulk, and weather-strip people's homes so they can save some money and energy this winter! We will be taking a bus to Cedar Rapids this year and helping out low-income, elderly, or disabled members of the community to make sure they stay warm this winter! There will be snacks provided and we hope this will be a fun and educational project for eveyone!

If you would like to help out you will need to attend an hour long training session either Tuesday Oct 20 from 6 - 7 pm in room 205 of MacLean or Wednesday Oct. 21 from 6 - 7 in room 22 of Schaeffer Hall. We will also need group leaders, who will be required to stop by a practice session on Sat. the 24th for a few minutes to learn to put up window film, use caulk, etc. There will be a small gift certificate provided for anyone who volunteers to be a group leader, and ALL volunteers are eligible for 10K hours.

Please e-mail Giselle at giselle-bruskewitz@uiowa.edu if you are interested in this event. Thanks everyone!
